Disney Cruise Lines said Wednesday that starting Jan. 13, 2019, all guests aged 5 and above would be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
No vaccine-eligible guests must provide documentation of a negative COVID test between 3 days and 24 hours prior to sailing.
A full vaccine is not required for children aged 5 to 11 traveling on Jan. 13. Guests 4 and under must undergo a NAAT, fast PCR, or lab-based PCR test, according to the firm.
After a sluggish 2020, Disney has consumers clamoring to book these cruises. But individuals are still learning to prepare for the infection. Many of these voyages take place outside of US territorial seas.
The vaccination recommended for youngsters in recent months may also be a factor.
Travelers may face more issues like these as governments strive to control the situation. But Disney has strict regulations. So, before sailing, Guests should take care of their commitments.
Otherwise, it may be a long drive home without any vacation photos to show relatives.
