This is a comprehensive policy that covers you for a period ranging from 5 days to 364 days. It provides coverage for medical outpatient emergencies, such as urgent clinic visits, X-rays and lab expenses, prescription drugs, and even surgical treatment. Inpatient emergency benefits include intensive care unit expenses, hospital room and board expenses, pre-admission tests, and more.

It also provides benefits for travel contingencies, such as cancellation or delay of the trip, loss of luggage or passport, emergency reunion, emergency evacuation, and many others.

Safe Travels International Cost Saver

This is another comprehensive plan that is refundable and covers you for 5 days to 2 years. The insured is covered 100% up to the selected policy maximum, after deductibles. You get the general inpatient and outpatient benefits, including the expense of an assistant surgeon, covered up to the policy maximum.

Besides medical coverage, this plan protects you against travel and life contingencies, such as emergency evacuation, the return of mortal remains of the policyholder in case of death, and others.

Patriot International Travel Insurance

Underwritten by Sirius International, this plan covers you for a period between 5 days and 2 years. This plan covers you for outpatient medical expenses, such as doctor visits, anesthetists, prescription drug costs and emergency room expenses, up to the policy limit, with an extra $250 penalty if your emergency room visit does not result in hospitalization.

Inpatient benefits include the basic ones, along with the physician’s non-surgical visits. Special medical benefits include maternity, chemotherapy, hazardous sports, pre-existing conditions (acute onset only), and many more.
